while today

What is this blog about? The blog title is from Hebrews chapter 3.

But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.  Hebrews 3:13, CSB (emphasis added)

This life is for making the decision for God. I have this moment in time, and I’m not guaranteed the next. I need to be responsive to God “while it is still called today.” The blog will be my place to ponder faith, culture, and daily life.

Russ Holden preached for the Grandville Church of Christ in Grandville, MI from 1980 to 2021 when he retired. He has also been visiting teacher at the South Pacific Bible College in Tauranga, New Zealand. He has a B.A. from Lipscomb University (1975) and an M.Th. from Harding School of Theology (1980). He and his wife, Kathy, have two grown children.

Scott Colvin preaches for the Grandville Church of Christ. He graduated from Harding University. He and his wife, Alison, have four children.
